Up in Smoke Photo Tutorial
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire…and that’s certainly the case with this sultry smoky eye. A pop of warmth on the inner corner stands out against beautifully blended cool shades on the lid. Perfect for a night out!
PRODUCTS USED:
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Corrupt
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in White Lies
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Stealth
- Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Untamed
- Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Flame Thrower
- Makeup Geek’s Full Spectrum Eye Liner Pencil in Obsidian
BRUSHES USED:
- Makeup Geek’s Soft Dome Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Bent Liner Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Outer V Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Defined Crease Brush
- A flat stiff brush like MAC’s 239
STEP 1:
- Use tape to create a sharper line at the outer corner
- Apply White Lies all over the lid and crease to make blending future shadows easier
STEP 2:
Generously pat Stealth all over the outer 1/3 of the eye with a flat stiff brush
STEP 3:
Blend Stealth inward creating a gradient effect using a clean soft dome brush
STEP 4:
Apply Corrupt to the outer 1/3 of the eye and blend up to darken the crease using a defined crease brush
STEP 5:
- Run Obsidian along the lower water & lash lines, then blend out the lash line with Stealth and a pencil brush
- Apply an even mixture of Flame Thrower and Untamed to the inner corner of the eye to highlight using an outer v brush and blend out slightly
STEP 6:
Apply a set of cat eye lashes and a lower mascara and you’re all set!
