Smoke & Mirrors Photo Tutorial
This Smoke & Mirrors look is anything but an illusion. Complete with glitter and falsies it’s a magical combination!
PRODUCTS USED:
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Bitten
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Corrupt
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Cupcake
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Vanilla Bean
- Makeup Geek Pigment in Utopia
- Sugarpill Loose Pigment in Lumi
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean
BRUSHES USED:
- Makeup Geek’s Defined Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Soft Dome Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Small Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pointed Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush
- A flat stiff brush (Like MAC’s 239)
STEP 1:
To create a smooth transition, sweep Cupcake onto the crease, extending slightly above with a soft dome brush
STEP 2:
Deepen the crease with Cocoa Bear and a defined crease brush
STEP 3:
Add some color into the crease using Bitten and a small crease brush, blending with a clean soft dome brush
STEP 4:
Apply Black Bean all over the lid blend using ring finger or an outer v brush
STEP 5:
Pat Corrupt over the Black bean to secure it using a flat stiff brush
STEP 6:
Using a mixture of Cocoa Bear and Bitten smoke out the lower lash line using a pencil brush and blend out with a soft dome brush
STEP 7:
Line the lower water line with NYX’s Black Bean Jumbo Eye Pencil, then smudge it along the lower lash line
STEP 8:
Apply Corrupt over the Black Bean once again and blend with a pointed crease brush
STEP 9:
With a flat stiff brush, pat Utopia all over the lid and in the center of the lower lash line as close to the lashes as possible
STEP 10:
- Apply Sugarpill’s Lumi to the inner corner with a clean small dome brush and blend into other colors precisely.
- apply a dramatic set of lashes
- put on your favorite mascara to the lower lashes
STEP 11:
Highlight your brow bone with Vanilla Bean and a defined crease brush
