Jack O’ Lantern Cut Crease Photo Tutorial
Get in the spirit! Carve out that crease and gleam like a jack o’ lantern. Totally cool and not at all scary, this festive creation is perfect for those dark October nights. Follow the step-by-step photo tutorial to recreate this look!
PRODUCTS USED:
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Desert Sands
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Bada Bing
- Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Grandstand
- Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Untamed
- Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Nude
- Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Obsidian
- Makeup Geek Sparkler in Asteroid
- Makeup Geek Sparkler in Light Year
- Makeup Geek Sparkler in Satellite
BRUSHES USED:
- Makeup Geek’s Pointed Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Foiled Eyeshadow Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Bent Liner Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush
- A flat stiff brush (Like MAC’s 239)
STEP 1:
Sweep Desert Sands into the crease with a pointed crease brush
STEP 2:
Cover the entire lid with Nude Full Spectrum Eye Liner Pencil
STEP 3:
- Use Immortal and a bent liner brush to create a wing at the outer corner of the eye, then set with Corrupt
- Pat Untamed on the inner third of the lid with a foiled eyeshadow brush, then blend into the Corrupt with Grandstand
- Make sure to leave the space between the crease and lid shades empty!
STEP 4:
- Mix Light Year and Asteroid with a small amount of your favorite glitter primer and line the blank space just under the crease using a clean bent liner brush
- Add extra sparkle by gently patting Satellite over the Grandstand
- Line the lower lash and water lines with Obsidian
STEP 5:
Blend out the lower lash line with Bada Bing and a pencil brush
STEP 6:
With a clean pencil brush, smudge Grandstand in the center of the lower lash line then add a small amount of Asteroid to the inner corner
