Hidden Treasure Photo Tutorial

X marks the spot. If you’ve stumbled upon this gem of a look, you can call off the hunt! Strike it rich with beautiful warm tones and a sprinkling of sparkle. This Hidden Treasure (look) is just waiting to be discovered, err, recreated.

PRODUCTS USED:

• Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Bada Bing
• Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear 
• Makeup Geek Sparkler in Satellite 
• Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Magic Act
• Makeup Geek Gel Eyeliner in Immortal

BRUSHES USED:

• Makeup Geek’s Soft Dome Brush
• Makeup Geek’s Defined Crease Brush 
• Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush
• Makeup Geek’s Bent Liner Brush 
• A flat stiff brush (Like MAC’s 239)

STEP 1:

• Fill in brows using your favorite pomade, wax or pencil
• Prep lid by priming eyes I used MACs Soft Ocher Paint Pot

STEP 2:

• Place a piece of tape extending from the lower lash line to create a sharp edge for a more dramatic finish
• Blend Cocoa Bear onto the crease, slightly above it extending it into the inner corner all with a soft dome brush

STEP 3:

With a defined crease brush deepen the crease with Bada Bing

STEP 4:

• With a glitter adhesive apply Satellite all over the upper lid and to the bottom lash line with a flat stiff brush
• Line the waterline and upper lash line with Immortal and a bent liner brush

STEP 5:

• Pat Magic Act onto the inner corner of the lid with a pencil brush
• Apply lower mascara and your favorite pair of lashes
