Date Night Photo Tutorial
Glow right out the door with this classic smokey eye. A glowing inner corner balances warm shades on the lid to show off your dazzling eyes. Use the step-by-step photo tutorial to recreate this stunning date night look using Makeup Geek Eyeshadows!

- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Cherry Cola
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Taboo
- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Casino
- Makeup Geek Duochrome Pigment in Wildfire
BRUSHES USED:
- Makeup Geek’s Soft Dome Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pointed Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Foiled Eyeshadow Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Pencil Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Defined Crease Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Outer V Brush
- Makeup Geek’s Bent Liner Brush
- A flat stiff brush (Like MAC’s 239)
STEP 1:
Apply Cupcake all over the lid with a soft dome brush
STEP 2:
With a pointed crease brush blend Tuscan Sun into the crease and blend upwards
STEP 3:
With a defined crease brush, deepen the crease by adding Cherry Cola, making sure to blend out any harsh lines
STEP 4:
To add more definition apply Taboo to the outer corner of the eye with an outer v brush and diffusing any harsh lines with Cherry Cola and a soft dome brush
STEP 5:
Pat Wildfire all over the inner 2/3 of the lid with a foiled eyeshadow brush
STEP 6:
For an extra pop, apply Casino onto the center of the lid with the same foiled eyeshadow brush
STEP 7:
Create a dramatic wing using Immortal and a bent liner brush and apply your favorite pair of thick dramatic lashes
STEP 8:
- Apply Cherry Cola to the lower lash line with a pencil brush and blend it out with Tuscan Sun
- Run a light purple eye liner, such as Makeup Geek’s Orchid Full Spectrum eye liner, into the waterline
STEP 9:
For an extra sassy pop of color, apply Whimsical onto the inner corner of the eye with a small crease brush as a highlight and apply your favorite lengthening mascara to finish off the look!
