I used to use a powder (eyeshadow) from MAC that they sold in a little set that had a brown color and a highlight color.
At first I was in absolute love. I used a MAC angled brush to apply. I think it's a good choice if you want a "soft" brow.
Then I upgraded and got MAC's brow gel. At first, I also loved this. (see a trend?
) but then I look back and realize that this was a HUGE mistake. Sorta like how people must think when they see pictures of them with lipliner and no lipstick? It made my eyebrows look...gunky. They would have to be PERFECTLY and NEWLY tweezed and waxed for it to look remotely good because if not somehow it would end up on all the rest of the stray hairs and look icky.
So, finally, I got MAC's eyebrow pencil. (the one that twists and "self-propels). It's the best thing I've used on my brows yet. If my brows are being unruly I used a little bit of clear mascara gel to keep them in place. It's all the best part of MAC's gel brow without the nastiness of it. So I recommend at least trying it out in the store because it's perfect for filling in spaces, imo.
Sorry if this is long, I just have so much brow trouble! and I hth.
